1956 – Born, Wollongong

1961-1964 – Lindsay Park Primary School, Wollongong

1965-1966 – Opportunity Class Selective Central Wollongong

1967-1973 – Wollongong High School – Selective 1971 Commonwealth Scholarship based on Year 12 results

1974-1978 – UNSW Combined degree of Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy specialisation) and Bachelor of Law. Living in Randwick and Bondi for these 5 years

1979 – College of Law Practical Legal Training full time

1/8/1979 – Admitted by Supreme Court as a solicitor

1979-1981 – Employed solicitor in Wollongong working at a large firm doing litigation and commercial planning

1981-present – Working as a solicitor in Moruya. Three month employment and then full principal

Legal career and views

· Conflict and court case are best avoided by a goodwill approach and plenty of planning.

· Represented both defence and prosecution for many years.

· Property law and commercial transaction throughout 39 ½ years including conveyancing disputes over wording of contract and letters. One dispute with a Sydney solicitor as a purchaser went to a full hearing in the Supreme Court with the client vendor being successful with every matter in dispute.

· Have professionally and/or personally been involved in Everett assignments, discretionary trusts, testamentary trusts, family trusts and other legal choices available.
